The Heathkit AA-100 Stereo Integrated Amplifier from the 1960s is growing in popularity. As people began to pull them out of basements, attics, and estate sales, they discovered that the old printed circuit boards haven't stood up to the ravages of time. A few years ago, I designed a brand new circuit board for my personal amplifier to replace the output board which was cracked, warped and burned. We've found that the original components are so far out of tolerance that the entire board needed to be gutted. It makes no sense to keep the old PCB at all.
The finished board made a huge improvement in tone quality and lower noise levels. I think I struck a nerve because I was bombarded with requests from other AA-100 owners who wanted them too! BRAND NEW FIBERGLAS PCB WITH BLACK MASKS.FULLY ASSEMBED PCB, READY TO TRANSPLANT INTO YOUR AMPLIFIER. TIGHT TOLERANCE METAL FILM RESISTORS.
